SecureMe — from the world's first $10 safety device to enterprise tracking.

A connected safety + tracking platform born from ERRS, the $10 safety wearable that started it all: GPS/IoT trackers, live telemetry, route & geofence maps and alerts for enterprise field officers and assets.

Founded and built it from the $10 ERRS safety wearable to today's enterprise safety + tracking platform.

ERRS — the preemptive engine: it predicts danger and steers people clear before an incident happens.

The problem

When someone is in danger, the only thing that matters is how fast the right help arrives. ERRS asked two questions: who is already five minutes away, and how do we stop the emergency from happening at all?

What I built

ERRS, the world's first $10 personal-safety wearable (patent filed 2814/DEL/2013), turns an SOS into a rescue. An alert from a person in danger is broadcast to volunteers within 5 km; a volunteer accepts and is guided in on a route that keeps updating as the victim moves. On arrival the incident is classified as medical, administrative or fire, and that drives the right government dispatcher and service. A preemptive engine then learns from region-wide incidents (heatmaps + time-series forecasts) to warn people before they walk into a high-risk zone and reroute them around a hyperlocal threat or natural calamity. That same DNA now runs SecureMe Devices' connected safety + tracking platform (GPS/IoT trackers, live telemetry, route & geofence maps) for enterprise field-officers and assets, including at a Reliance industrial township.

The outcome

Recognised across government, industry and design — Lockheed Martin's India Innovation Growth Programme (Top 50), the Dept. of Science & Technology, FICCI, Google and a Core77 / Microsoft "App to the Future" award — and today a live commercial product at securemedevices.com.

Why it works

The same idea has held since 2012: get the nearest help moving sooner, and warn people before they walk into danger. It now runs at enterprise scale.
